2000 champagnes by Richard Juhlin is a thorough research into the topic of Champagne. From the region, to the producers, the history, food matchings and contact information for the champagne region, this book has it all. The tasting notes are without doubt the most comprehensive available (approximately 2000 tasting notes) to the general public. The notes are well written and interesting for anyone to read. In fact they will make you feel like going out and buying a bottle of champagne to drink immediately. The quality of the photographs is excellent, they are not typical, or stereotyped and add an extra dimension of interest to the book. If you are interested in champagne in any way this is the book to satisfy your champagne thirst.
