Not up to his usual standards, seems a little rushed, you don't get the tension and frustration in the Women's Murder Club this time. A little disappointing

Classic Patterson, though I wonder how much he actually writes himself now?
Please bring future books out as e-books at the same time as the launch of the hardback version. I no longer wish to buy printed books!

Another Good Read (0/0 people found this helpful)

9th Judgement is another good story by James Patterson. I say good because its not his best book but its by no means his worse story. The Womens Murder Club are all pretty good reads and this is no exception.

In 9th Judgement Lindsey Boxer (now Sergeant) finds herself tracking down a serial killer who is ex military and suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) after an incident in Iraq where one of his best friends and colleagues was killed by a roadside bomb.

Parrellel to that scenario is a burglar who is targetting the rich and famous and stealing their jewellery when they are at home and having parties, the reason being that their safes are open and jewellery accessible.

Needless to say theres a connection between the two and Lindsey and her chums try their best to get to the bottom of the murders and the burglaries.

This is a good story but I felt it ended all too abruptly (like lots of recent books by Mr Patterson) as if the author(s) got fed up and decided to end it as quickly or maybe he had a deadline to work too! Shame because up until then, it was another good book.
