Reader Reviews:Enlightening (2/2 people found this helpful)I'm a big fan of a lot of the films that Alan Hume has worked on - Return Of The Jedi, 007, Carry On and A Fish Called wanda. I was really fascinated to read this book which is a genuine behind-the-scenes, interesting and humorous memoir. There are great chapters on Bond and Star wars, and lots of really nice photos from Hume's own collection - many I've never seen before. It doesn't get stuffy or technical, and Hume doesn't have an axe to grind anywhere - he seems like a genuinely nice guy who really loves his job, and that comes across well in the book. I'd recommend it highly to any fan of cinema, not least the three series I've mentioned and many, many more films.
