As you have proberly noticed the reason it's called a blank book is because it is blank. It is a hardcover book that is shaped and looks just like the series.
Instead it's a kind of notebook with hundreds of pages. The paper is thick and good quality. There are over forty stickers in the back to mark anything you want... special diary entries and were you think it looks good really. Also at the bottom of every page there is a quotation from one of he thirteen books in a series. eg: 'People don't always get what they deserve in this world' - Esme Squalor, The Carnivorous Carnival.
Not only this but the pages are lined, with thorn boarders. Your writing won't be able to help looking professional!
On some pages there are Brett Helquist's grayscaled illistrations including some of the most famous: an eye, Violet, Sunny and a violin, and a photo of all three of them plus heaps more!
This book is a perfect diary and I recommend it to anyone.

Ok so it's basically a notepad, its blank inside with lined pages. BUT here's the good part, it has quotes from all the books inside, stickers to decorate your book, and illustrations by the artist (basically i can't spell his surname, brett helquist i think it is).
I've been using it as a diary, and it really makes my terrible writing look good! Each page is bordered and it makes my ramblings (like these) look really professional, and the lines keep my writing in place :) It's good quality paper, so unless you've got your full weight on the pen you're unlikely to rip through it!
Anyway, if you want a book to read, don't buy this (I'll sell you mine!), but if you want a good quality, affordable notebook it's excellent!
