Reader Reviews:Save your money (0/0 people found this helpful)This book will disappoint you and leave you very angry. Firstly it is quite evident that most of the people involved with the production of this guide have never been to the island. To say it has been written by the AA it has some of the worst directions I have ever read. The points of interest that are mentioned for each town are good but it is very difficult to find them, and as another reviewer states a street plan would be a very good addition. Some sections of the book are out of date and things are no longer there. Information about any particular place is spread over a number of pages instead of being in one place, due to this there are a large number of contradictions throughout, it makes reading the guide painfull. Even more surprisingly there is no coverage of local driving regulation, watch out for the traffic lights, only two colours! Very poor and very disappointing! fab little book (0/0 people found this helpful)Agree absolutely with Fuerte fan above. Have just returned from the island and found this little book indispensable. It is good on both the mainstream and the more obscure places you might want to visit. It is certainly well organised and easy to use. And so well priced. Recommended guidebook to Fuerte (0/0 people found this helpful)OK, so it devotes 10 pages to Las Palmas (not exactly a common day trip destination for visitors to Fuerte) but that small detail apart, this is without a doubt one of the BEST guide books to Fuerteventura. The information is up-to-date and well-organised geographically (it's a big island and if you're staying in the far south you probably don't want to wade through lots of data on sightseeing options 70 miles to the north)and the section on Lanzarote helpful, as many Fuerte holidaymakers DO pop over there for a day. All in all, my top pick guide to the island, especially at this LOW price. not worth having (32/33 people found this helpful)This guide was as useful as a chocolate teapot. We did not even bother to take with us after purchasing it. Of its 174 pages, over 35 pages cover Lanzarote and Gran Canaria, not what you really want in a guide book on Furteventura. A lot of the content appears to have been copied from the "AA Map and guide to Lanzarote and Fuerteventura", which is more useful, as it contains a large map of the island.
