Reader Reviews:Good but not life changing! (0/0 people found this helpful)I founs this an interesting enough look at an English cricketing summer. The perspective of a person from each team made this far more intesting than it might hve been had it been written from one point of view, given that it was a relatively one sided contest. Steve Waugh is a better writer than Nasser Hussain, which is hardly suprising as Waugh is now a seasoned writer. However, Hussain is still very readable. The book provides a reasonably in depth view "behind the scenes" into how an international team works. However, you do get the feeling that something is being held back and you are not getting the whole truth. I would not say it is the best cricket book I have ever read, but its well written and entertaining enough. CategoriesAmazon.co.uk places this book into the following categories:
