Excellent in-depth study of networks. As good as any other. However, it is a bit technical in parts, and math orientated, which while a focus of networks does not need to be its standing limb.
Still worth the time and money. What we really need it a book that assumes a given level of networks so the osi reference model or well known protocols are not discussed from scratch. An experts book if you will. Know of any?

Keshav has produced an excellent book. You find yourself understanding the working of netwrok protocols like it's no big deal. A very good choice of examples too. It is a typical text book --it's dry. But that's the fault of the topic rahter than the author.
