It is amazing that everybody has not heard of this book, filled with astounding comic invention and digs (never jabs) at everything in sight. It purports to be a collection of sides to famous stories that we never got to hear; from a comment on the loaves and the fishes to a hilarious explanation from Alexander the Great of his activities, as well as digs at everything from Hamlet to Attila the Hun. I never stopped laughing once.
