I am a hobby editor who normally uses Windows and Pinnancle Studio but recently converted to the Mac (best move ever) and to Final Cut Pro HD. First time I launched the program I was speechless it looked so complicated (especially after the very easy interface of Pinnacle). So I realized I won't be able to figure this on my own and got the Apple Pro Series book.
I have been gripped ever since, it is a real pleasure to study with (whopping 900 pages) and the DVD including the lessons makes it really easy and I am just flying through understanding everything about this wonderful program! There are 21 lessons, about an hour each, firsts covering some aspects of the programs and then practising them on the lessons inlcuded in the DVD. Really recommend it!
