It is very rare that a book of fairy tales contains more than a couple of stories that are worth re-telling to an audience. However in this book, Amina Shah, a storyteller herself, has assembled an almost faultless volume of colourful stories that are a joy to read and to tell. Each charming story offers an insight into Arabian values and customs and all are suitable for young and old readers and listeners.
