I hate to write a bad review about a Footprint book because I have used them in the past and thought they were great, but I feel that they have lost their way a bit with this guide to Argentina. I am just back from a trip and found the guide out of date and it seemed to be aimed at the 'older' traveller. Also, the writer obviously has a huge amount of experience and love for Argentina, but I felt that sometimes that coloured the judgment of things to see/do in the guide. A guide should, in my opinion, give an unbiased viewpoint 'warts and all' and I felt that this was absent from the Footprint guide. This guide may give you bus details etc, but I would definitely go for the Time Out guides, where possible, in preference to Footprint in the future, which are more colourful and have an altogether 'younger',whether in years or just in outlook, viewpoint.
