Not one of the most exciting, but has good bits in it, and is fairly inventive.

A man has just left the Roman army and gets a plot of land in honour of his service. The Roman Legionary dousn't have any Sestertii left to pay for a drink in Letutia so he gives the innkeeper his plot of land instead. This plot of land just happens to be the village in which our gaulish friends live and they don't seem to like the Letutians moving inn, especialy Chief Vitalstatistix when the inn keepers wife trys to make her husband Chief. the first vote is fom Unhygenix and Getafix doesn't mind. Will Asterix be able to keep the chief in andf kick the Letutian out? Find out in this truly amazing book.
