This book (Bambi) is just a shortened version of the movie - without the songs. It has the same characters, Bambi's mother, his father who is the Great Prince of the Forest, Thumper, the rabbit, Bambi and other great characters. It has the same events, Bambi is born, and he grows up with his animal friends - Thumper, Flower, Faline and others. He also becomes the Great Prince of the Forest himself after his father's reign is sadly finished. The Walt Disney Company wonderfully rewrote this story. Rating and Recommendation: I would rate it 7/ 10 and I would positively recommended `Bambi the book' to anyone who enjoyed the film as much as I did.
