If you loved Lesley Lokko's previous books you are going to love this one too. I was sneaking off to read a few chapters whenever I could as I just desperately wanted to find out what happened to the characters. I also loved how you also get to find out some history of countries such as Haiti at the same time. My only gripe would be that I would have loved to have found out more of Angelines and Laure's family history as it seemed fascinating. It's well worth reading!!
