This book is brilliant! The Children love the songs and pick the words and actions up very quickly this is due to the tunes being familiar. After one week of use the Children already have their favorites. I am going to buy The Handy Band this week to add to the fun!

With simple songs, familiar tunes and clear explanations this book has been really beneficial in teaching music to nursery and reception classes. It is a must for all foundation stage practitioners and an invaluable guide for those who know little about music!

This is a good book for new or current Primary teachers. It has a range of songs to help children with their counting and communication skills. You don't need to read music to understand the tunes. The book gives you an example, eg. 'sing to the tune of Old MacDonald had a farm.' There is music at the back of the book for those who want it.
The book also has some fine pictures of actions to go along with the songs.
For the teacher who needs to brush up on the words of nursery rhymes and songs this is invaluable.
