I think this is a great book. I myself am a horsefan, and I have a hard time finding interesting books that have horses or horse-related animals in them. The plot is great, and the role the unicorns play in this book is very interesting. I am definatly going to read some more of John Peel's work.

I have read all six of the diadem series at least a zillion times. Though i get teased alot by my older brother, Robert(16) for reading "childish books" i can't help but love them. I wish that John Peel would write more of the diadem books so that i can read them over and over again till they fall apart!!!! I've read like every book he's written and so has my friend, Lisa(13, soon to be 14). Though the books are recomended for ages 9-12 i'm 14 and love them!! Have i said that already? Oh well, i just wrote this to beg Mr.Peel to have mercy on my poor soul and to please PLEASE write more of the DIADEM books:the greatest series ever written!!!!

THIS BOOK IS VERY EXCELLENT AND I LOVE TO SIT DOWN AND READ THEM. THEY ARE SO GOOD THAT I READ THEM IN ABOUT TWO HOURS. I HAVE READ ALL FOUR AND SOON WILL GET THE FIFTH ONE AND KEEP ON GOING. JOHN PEEL I HOPE YOU DONT EVER STOP WRITING THESE BOOKS. I COULD SPEND MY WHOLE DAY SITTING DOWN READING THEM. I RECCOMEND THIS BOOK TO ANYONE WHO LIKES MAGIC AND MYSTERY. SO IF YOU ARE HAVING SECOND THOUGHTS JUST GO DOWN TO THE BOOK STORE, BUY THE FIRST ONE, PLOP DOWN AND START READING. IF YOU WANT YOU CAN EMAIL ME AND ILL TELL YOU MORE ABOUT THE BOOK.

When i was in 4th grade i signed up for a Scholastic Fun-tastic book club. It's where they send you 4 (or) 5 books (plus posters,pencils,erasers,etc.)When one day I got Diadem as a book. i just kinda thew it on my counter not really thinking about it (I thought it had a cool cover thogh.) Then one day on the summer i got bored so i read it......IT WAS SOOO COOL))) I loved every character! My friend and I bought every book accept 5 & 6. But, I just ordered them (HOPE TO GET THEM SOON!!!)We go home and read them ,then whenever I see him we just sit down somewhere and talk and talk and tell what we thought and what was cool about that book! All the people around us wonder WHAT THE HECK WE ARE TALKIN ABOUT! But we just say "You don't know and never will know because you are a lonely peasant one the last ring of the Diadem and know nothing of the mere Power We hold!!" We are kind of weird! he is 11 about to be 12 and, i am 12! I always act like i have all this magic stuff and I cast spells on people (hehehe) When we were at school Me and him always joked around like we were making the teacher levatate in the air(hehehe) But anyway i recomend this book to anyone and it would be an awsome movie as long as it is'nt like Mortal Kombat. In the first movie of MK everyone was cool and they had realistic special effects, But the second one i got my hopes up when i saw the preview because i thought it would be awsome, Instead the costumes looked like PLASTIC and They changed alot of charactors and also THEY WERE REALLY BAD ACTORS!! I guess no one knows how to act like a supreme overlord of th Outworld these days!!LOL, well anyway please don't stop writing Diadem books, I am sure they will get popular (atleast My friend and I are spreading the word)

This is a great book. You should keep on writing. I read books 1-4, and know will soon buy 5 & 6. You should make this a computer software, and a cartoon if you like. You should keep on writing. I read every book 3x. Please makes the series a television show on channels 11/5 , and 44. Keep writing until series 90000, or 50
