Reader Reviews:classic wit in wicked rhyme (22/23 people found this helpful)From the ditties about animals that my children like so much to the shrewdly observed tidbits of social commmentary, this book of verse is: FUN. This one is a family favourite. Nash's wonderful use/abuse of language and his sideways perspective make his pieces appealing and memorable -- bits of Nash infiltrate dinner conversation. Good for giggles. Irresistable to read aloud. I keep buying copies for friends... Well Selected and Presented Collection (13/14 people found this helpful)A Generous and well presented selection of Nash's Poetry amply displaying all of the irreverent, sparkling humour, laced with those little shots of pathos that stop his work becoming shallow or merely eccentric. A good way to discover poetry and find that it can be FUN!
