However, the phrases it churns out aren't colloquial Cantonese i.e. the phrases are what you would say if they were written down on paper (like Mandarin). I believe you would still be understood if you used these phrases but it's better to know the colloquial forms of these phrases as well if you're only wanting to chat to natives.
