To be honest i was very disappointed with this book. the main reason for buying it was for the recipes; however ther are not that many in it and the ones that are use alcohol or flavoured syrups. Now i know you dont have to use the alcohol but what of the flavoured syrups. I cant afford to go and buy every flavoured syrup mentioned so some alternative options would have been nice. The author has put some recipes for making coffee and chocolate syrup which i have tried and are very good, but thats it as far as the syrups go.
Also i didnt find the iced recipes all that inspiring either. I dont know maybe im being too picky, but i wouldnt recommend it. The information about the origins of coffee and the beans and cultivation is all very informative, as is the storage options and making the perfect cup ( with or without a machine),and the syrup recipes, thats why i have given this book 3 stars: However, because of the lack of recipes i would not recommend.
