Once available as two seperate books and now, in this edition, collected together with new material into one excellent, and quite large, volume.
Several animators suggested I get this book(s) when I was a kid and I've had it since I was around 12 years of age and it's been an imense help. It has all walk, run, sneak etc cycles for you to adapt and should be of use as reference for ALL animators. It's been almost 30 years and I still have this book on my shelf at work!

I have been building characters in 3D Max for some time, but they lack real character in their animation and design. This book, designed for 2D artists has been invaluable in aiding me to get the shape and character of my 3D characters correct, and to make the animation believable.

This book is a must for all the aspiring animators and professionals, as said previously this book has an invaluable number of cycles that can be ruthlessly stolen and used for similar projects. The lip synchs' are extremely useful.

Great book. Lot's of really usefull walk cycles that can be applied to all kinds of different characters. An absolute must for an animator. In my opinion it ranks up there with "The Illusion of Life".
