Celtic Quilts, A New Look foor Ancient Designs is a delightful book to skim through and then to work from. Beth Ann Williams' diagrams are excellent, the prose very clear, there are super helpful tips on almost every page and one just cannot wait to get started.
The idea of applying Celtic designs to other ethnic backgrounds is very well shown. Applique, using modern materials for fusing before fast machine stitching as well as other traditional forms of quilting are clearly demonstrated.
The book is a viual delight and so clearly explained that someone quite new to the subjuct could get started right away. I would highly recommend it to all machine or hand quilters.
