I recomend this book to anyone who wants to make their own bithday cakes. The designs are many including storybook favourites, number cakes, sport and animal themes and many more. The cakes turn out just like the pictures, are easy to make and cost a good deal less than commercially bought cakes. No disappointments here, unlike other books I have used. No special tins are required, most designs are based on a round or oblong basic sponge cake cut to size using clear colour photographs to guide you throughout. The perfect book for budding cake decorators who are full of enthusiasm but too scared to try their hand. Give this book a try and you won't regret it.
