Reader Reviews:Story of a rugby genius (4/4 people found this helpful)"Life on the Run" tells the story of one of the greatest rugby talents in living memory - Christian Cullen. John Matheson guides us through the formation and development of Cullen's amazing talent, his bursting onto the world stage at the Hong Kong Sevens, his record breaking achievements in an All Black jersey, his undeserved fall from grace with the selectors of that team in the run up to the 2003 Rugby World Cup, and his eventual signing with the Munster Rugby Club in Ireland. It's a captivating read for anyone interested in the game of rugby. One word of advice - Matheson deals with Cullen's growing disillusionment and eventual move to Munster in the first and last chapters of the book, and, in my view, it's worth reading them together at the end as it provides a better structure to the book. Other than that, it's a fantastic read and well worth the price. CategoriesAmazon.co.uk places this book into the following categories:
