Great Book! (0/0 people found this helpful)

Being the huge Christina fan that I am, I have read alot of books about her life / music. This is by far one of the best i've even bought. It's a very detailed and personal look at her life, which is very interesting and makes it a must-read for any Christina fan. I thought I knew Christina well, but I found out alot after reading this book. Once you start it, it is hard to put down. I recommend it to anyone that like's Ms Aguilera, as you will not be disappointed. Defiently worth the money!

Very good (0/0 people found this helpful)

I really enjoyed this book. I read it in about 2 days as I couldn't put it down. Being a huge fan of Xtina I really would recommend this book to any other fan. I found it very easy to read. This book stops before she released Stripped which is a shame as i would really have like to read about her life up to date - that just goes to show how much i enjoyed this book if i wanted to read more!

Serious look at American pop star (3/3 people found this helpful)

I bought this book because I'm somewhat of a Christina fan, but I wasn't expecting much because it was a pop star biography and we all know what kinds of rubbish most of those lot are. I was taken aback completely at the introspection and reporting skills in this book. The book not only does justice to Christina's life- showing both the "dirrty" and "beautiful" sides of the singer- but it also provides a good look into the American pop music industry and shows how Christina managed to transform herself into her own person. Honestly, give this book a chance- it's not just one of those fan biographies.

Christina will keep on singin' her song (1/1 people found this helpful)

I've always been a huge fan of ms Aguilera, most because of her extrordinary talent in singing -there's no point comparing her voice with others, and by letting the beautiful tones from her latest album "Stripped" passing through my head, I didn't have to think twice when I laid my hands on this autobiography in the store. And I was taken, I was glad to see I got to know everything I wanted about Christina, getting to know the person behind that amazing voice. Because she ain't just a pretty face; this woman can sing like no other and it's about time the world opens up for her.

Best pop bio (2/2 people found this helpful)

I'm amazed that I haven't heard more talk about this book. I'm a huge Christina fan (more now than ever) and this book describes in a very engaging prose all the trials and tribulations of Christina's journey. I've never seen such a well-written book about any pop star and I hope this book is part of a series or something. This book also gave an interesting perspective on the cut-throat music industry in the States. A very enjoyable read!
