Essential reading for Hearts fans everywhere (4/13 people found this helpful)
If you're a Hearts fan like me, you probably went through just about every emotion going in the 2005/06 season - from excitement at the players brought in & our subsequent unbeaten start to the season, to the bewilderment at Burley's sacking, to the anger & frustration at the appointment of Graham Rix, to the relief and exultation of the Scottish Cup win and qualification for the Champions League. It was a rollercoaster ride, and through it all, the players kept a packed Tynecastle enthralled week after week.
This book is the "semi" official account of that remarkable season, written by Hearts World match commentator Mark Donaldson and Jambo legend Gary Mackay. Inside, you'll find lots of previously unknown titbits, not least the most plausible account yet as to the events surrounding Burley's sacking (this has been shrouded in mystery up till now due to a "confidentiality agreement" signed by both parties).
Well written and both heartwarming, frustrating, and at times humourous (you have to laugh at it all sometimes), every Jambo should own this book.

This is a lovely book, excellent to get new christmas inspiration.
The downside of this book, there is no "how to do it" only inspirational foto's.
But really a beautiful book

An inspiring book that is great just to leaf through, looking at the illustrations, even if you intend to buy all your decorations at Woolworths! Otherwise it will give you some wonderful ideas, both large and small, ideas that can be applied to other celebrations throughout the year.
The chapters start with overall themes e.g. traditional, nordic etc. Then the book moves on to consider trees, table settings, candles, advent calendars etc. What I liked was the emphasis on home-made throughout the book. If you like Christmas or crafts, I can't recommend it enough.
