Reader Reviews:I counted them all out, but ... (0/0 people found this helpful)... they didn't come home for five more years. Saul David adds an interesting informative chapter to the book of Scottish war stories. Hardly any town, village or hamlet in Scotland was unaffected by the capture of 10,000 troops at St Valery-en-Caux. I am guilty of not knowing about the sacrifice made by these men, but I know now and understand the reluctance of the general histories of world war two to concentrate on Dunkirk and to forget what happened to the 51st Highland Division. They were heroes too in their own way.
