Reader Reviews:Great traditional Christmas decorating ideas and recipes! (15/15 people found this helpful)This book is full of all the trimmings, focusing on Martha's memories of a traditional Christmas. It is filled not only with great projects such as the velvet embossed leaf wreath, and ice wreaths filled with various plants, but also great ideas for gifts (cranberry vodka, yum!) and luscious looking recipes for the holiday season, like pistachio cranberry biscotti and chewy cranberry almond cookies for you cookie lovers out there, and the very tasty looking 3 nut pasta. The whole book is full of great ideas and information that you could use every year in your Christmas planning. You'd want to have a lot of time on your hands though, particularly for the construction of the pinecone village and the pinecone people that live in it! But if you have time, then the book is worth having as what you can't accomplish this year, you can try next year! If you like Christmas the Martha Way, this book is definitely worth having.
