I bought this book as my son's teacher asked him to do. I am sure it helped him embelish his french vocabulary. Another plus side is that now he isn't asking his dad about French all the time!!!

This book was recommended to me by a friend, and it is a great asset when learning this difficult language. When in France I keep it in the car, so I have it to hand when I go shopping/to the chemist/to a restaurant as it helps me to try to say what I want to say, quickly and easily. Much better than some of the other dictionaries I have previously purchased.

This dictionary is very helpful for everyday vocabulary. It may not be first choice for the more advanced learner or user of french but it's accessible and an excellent reference tool for the beginner. Happy to recommend it.

Nice layout, but short on basic words (1/1 people found this helpful)
Although the layout is very nice, the number of very basic words missing from this dictionary is shocking.
I bought this to replace my aging 20 year old Collins *pocket* dictionary because the type in it is now too small for me in anything but the best light (curse my aging eyes!).
But I kept having to go back to my old dictionary because the word I wanted to look up in the Easy Learning version was not there.
I have now returned the Easy Learning dictionary to Amazon and I am on the look out for a better replacement for my old mini dictionary.
