Nouns aren't everything (1/1 people found this helpful)
I got this having already bought the Easy Learning verbs & grammar books. The book is divided into 50 topics with lists of words under each. The lists are all nouns. They're grouped by gender, and split into essential, important, & useful categories. There is also a 'useful phrases' section under each topic, and here is dumped everything else, including verbs. I don't see why nouns are considered so much more important in improving your conversational skills under a certain topic. What's more useful when talking about driving: knowing the noun for steamroller or the verbs for brake, accelerate, and swerve? To be fair, two of those three verbs are in the relevant section, but they're just jumbled in with various other phrases, not listed in any sort of structured way as the nouns are.
Easy Learning German Nouns would have been a more accurate title, but I don't feel I've wasted my money, it'll come in useful.
A very handy little vocab book, well set out and small enough to carry around in a coat pocket. (2/2 people found this helpful)
