I ordered this for my daughter who needs it for exam work. Its just what she needed with the verb table in the middle.Recomed it for GCSE's. Fast delivery as usual!

Very good for content - includes a useful middle section with phrases and ways to help you learn to speak more fluently. My only complaint is that it is called a pocket dictionary, but it is not particularly small! I would suggest a mini dictionary if you are looking to take it on holiday.

This is a great dictionary with the colour layout making it clear to find what your looking for. However, I primarily bought this as a quick reference literally to go in your pocket for my son on a school trip, and it's far too big for that. Perhaps it could more aptly named to 'large pocket' or 'handbag' edition!

A nice small dictionary. Very informative, with verb conjugation tables and other grammatical information, including translational difficulties and pronunciation. Hardly pocket size at 15.5/11/4 cm. Contains parts of speech that we never learn in English Grammar such as the present subjunctive, but useful if we were ever required to use it!

I have just a few weeks to pick up some Spanish, and have bought a CD method (Language Now), and a grammar (Complete Spanish Grammar, Nissenberg). I wanted to complete the package with a dictionary I could carry in a (large!) handbag, despite some scepticism about the usefulness of such tiny things. I have been very pleasantly surprised by this Collins version - little dictionaries have made some progress in recent years evidently. This is everything that the product description says, with much much more than just word-for-word translations, and includes elements of much larger dictionaries: words in context, warnings about false friends, and longer entries for what they call 'keywords' (palavras claves!) Plus the helpful supplements the PD mentions. Yes, definitely an excellent choice for my needs.
