Contatti 2: An Intermediate Course in Italian: Student Book

Contatti 2 follows on from the first book in the series, and provides a good basis for intermediate italian learners. As a tutor of Italian, I found that although the listening and reading activities were very good in the classroom and for the students (adults) at home between lessons, there was a lack of exercises provided for grammar practise, which I had to supplement. In fact several of my students said that this was their main criticism of this book - lack of grammar exercises (hard to imagine isn't it?). However, in my search for the perfect course book for adult learners of Italian, this book is better than most, even with its few flaws. (But my search continues...)
