Reader Reviews:Open the book at random, read and laugh. (5/6 people found this helpful)This book is a great "bed-side" read. It's worth buying if only to learn that Lord Harris's justification in "The Cricketer" of refusing Walter Hammond a place in the Gloucestershire team for a year was titled "Effects of Bolshevism". Furthermore, if you need to establish 3 connections between Arthur Mailey and tripe this is essential reading...well played, Henry; superb stuff!!! Blowers at his best (6/6 people found this helpful)A must read for the fans of the star of test match special. Witty, informative and incessantly readable....buy it now !
