A Good introduction to Audio Post (1/1 people found this helpful)
A comprehensive, if not basic introduction to various aspects of Audio; Chapters on Wave theory and different types of mics are interesting for the beginner. There are also several hints at the back on various alternatives to actually chopping someone's head off to get that authentic sound, or how to replicate the sound of guts spilling on to the floor a la Hollywood! Overall, it's not a bad book to have as reference, but it is just a little dated.
