I bought this book at the last minute before going, as like so many British tourists I had made no effort to learn the language before going. On several occasions I tried make make use of the information provided by this book to know avail. After bring in prague for a few days we got to know some of the locals who spoke English very well and they offered to help us learn some basic phrases to get by. On showing them the book they could not sop laughing due to the number of mistakes and also the book attempts to show you how to pronouce each expression - all of which are wrong, we were told.
