Reader Reviews:Recommended! (4/4 people found this helpful)With the recent interest in all things D-Day it's great to see a title that focuses more on the air warfare that surrounded this world-changing event. As with his previous work, Steve Darlow has created a wholly readable and very enjoyable text. The interviews with veterans range from harrowing, to light-hearted to plain death-defying. The picture section here is absolutely superb as is the overall production of the book - it's something that you can pick up and really feel the weight of and marvel at the jacket design. I know this isn't essential but it all helps to create a great air of quality. I'd totally recommend this for any aviation enthusiast or those simply interested in the D-Day campaign. Top marks!
