Reader Reviews:Really a bad dictionnary - especially for non-Danes (10/10 people found this helpful)Really a bad dicionnary - especially for non Danes. I will give examples. 1) when you look under 'child', it says 'barn'. No mentioning of the gender (common or neuter), no mentioning of the plural! How are you ever going to know that plural is irregular, borne? 2) when you look in English for 'children', you find nothing. Only singular: child. This is not only valid for this word, for most words! 3) no summary of grammar (even not 3 pages) 4) only list of English irregular verbs (at the end), no list of Danish irregalur verbs! All by all, an almost worthless book... Spend a bit more money to buy a dictionary of acceptable quality! I liked the dictionary very much. (0/3 people found this helpful)I found this dictionary to be the most helpful reference out there for a cheap price. I recommend this dictionary to anyone who wants to learn Danish the easy way.
