I was very impressed with every aspect of this book. Where other books overwhelm the student with detail, this book makes it all seem easy and approachable. Explanations are clear from the outset. I would strongly recommend this book to anyone tackling Hebrew for the first time. The student will end up with a good solid grounding in the language and will be able to tackle the easier parts of the Old Testament with confidence.

This book is meant to be addressed to the beginner, but is actually less clear and more confusing than much earlier grammars. The order in which this books covers chapters makes Hebrew a lot harder to learn than it needs to be! Find a second hand copy of Weingreen's grammar instead!
