Another great read from Peter James. I loved this one, having been in New York on 9/11 I was very interested to read his take on it - and it was spot on ! Very real and great storyline. Roy Grace just gets better and better, the sub plot of his life is every bit as enjoyable as the main storyline. Roll on the next one !

I live within the Sussex area written about by Peter James and was pleased to be on familiar territory that I could visualise. To start with I thought this story might be a bit gruesome but as I got further into it, I was hooked, and read late into the night to finish some chapters.

I am a great fan of Peter James and love all his books.
This particular book was very easy to read; I did not want to put it down. The Roy Grace series is so real; I would love to see them turned into films. The character lines are very easy to follow and keep you on the edge of your seat. The cliffhanger at the end of the book sent me right to the next one in the series:

This was the first time I had read any of Peter James work and must say it transported me away and did what a really good book should, that is, take the reader somewhere else for a bit without the need of alcoholic help or lots of money..
