Reader Reviews:An OK holiday read, but that's about it (1/2 people found this helpful)This is that first Clive Cussler novel that I've read, and the best way I think I can summarise it would be to say that it's a fast moving story that's thin on detail and doesn't require the reader to engage brain other than to deal with poor grammar. It has a kind of "Boy's Own Adventure" feel and it's therefore perfect for a poolside sun-lounger read.
deep six by clive cussler (5/8 people found this helpful)i have read clive cussler books before and they are all of the dirk pitt novels. these are my favourite as they are packed with all the elements that are needed to make a good book. deep six is no exception. fantastic! (5/8 people found this helpful)This is the first one of his books that I have read, and it would make me go out and buy more. The plot was fast-moving - I couldn't put it down!
