Bought this when I was studying for my DPP four years ago, now I'm half-way through my degree and I'm still using it!! It has proved itself time and again as a provider of good quotes and as a starting point for further research. Written in clear language it's an easy read. If you are studying at level 2-3 level, 'buy it' as when you progress to 4-5 or even further you will still be using it! You wont be wasting you ££££'s.

I found this book really helpful in my first year studying a level 3 CACHE DCE. It works alongside the assignment modules and is easy to understand.
I haven't really used it my second year but without it in my first the course would have been a lot more challenging. It was handy having my own copy at home to refer to as i couldn't carry it around as a library book, its far too heavy for that!

This is a excellent book just got one as iv just started my course for the diploma,its going to be very usefull,its full of information thats important for the course and has 11 units the same as the course,well worth it as i shall be using it for the next two years,;)

I used this book whilst doing NVQ level 3 in Early Years Care and Development, and it was excellent- I used it more than I used the text book! I highly recommend it.

A GREAT book for anyone doing Child Care especially those doing CACHE Dip in Child Care and Education as this was my bible to get through the course. I am now training to be a children's nurse and still this book is very useful for me especially the section on theorists! Deffinatly well worth the money!
