Excellent idea but problems with the new format (1/7 people found this helpful)
Firstly, the programme gets 5 stars - an epic adventure with good linking narration.
Good idea to release a single disc MP3 version instead of the 3 CD version. However, there are problems with the sound quality. There are frequent pops and crackles (every couple of seconds) that were not present on the 3 CD edition. Also, the MP3 tags have not been completed correctly - this means that if you are playing this on a computer you need to manually sort through the 200 odd tracks in order to make them play in order!
