Reader Reviews:Excellent Entertainment Value for the money (28/28 people found this helpful)This is is three books in one [Dr Seuss' Sleep Book; Thidwick the Big-Hearted Mouse; Horton Hears a Who], rather than a number of stories. Each 'book' takes about 25 minutes+ to read and make the best of. We were all laughing. At times my children were coughing and spluttering in hysterics. Love the illustrations and fantasy characters throughout. Will definitely be adding more to our collection! Great stories, touching at times. Full of morals (9/9 people found this helpful)I loved this book and read it almost daily to my daughter. I still buy it regularly when I make a gift. i believe the stories are of the type that will remain in the chlidren's hearts forever. moose juice, not goose juice, is juice for a moose. (27/27 people found this helpful)The is simply a must have book for all parents who delight is watching there children become engrosed in books, the tales in this Dr Seuss masterpiece are easy to read and are written in rhyme. Dr Seuss needs no introduction to children's literature, The Cat in the hat is a world wide success. This magical book of bedtime stories is fun, imaginative and all kids will find this irresistable. The book is based on three stories:Dr Seuss's sleep book, Thidwick the big hearted moose and the unforgetable Horton hears a who. The first tale reports on the various creatures who fall asleep, and begins with an addictive yawn, humourous and imaginative this tale tells us of brothers who chat in there sleep, a chippendale mup who bites his incredibly long tale to wake him in the morning (the pain sets in only when the nip makes a trip to his brain) tounge-twisting, fast and interesting. The second tale - funny is an understatement, Thidwick a moose who's big heart allows all sorts of creatures to dwell on his antlers, the things that happen in this tale instantly create laughter pain, as both adults and kids would definality enjoy.Lastly the book speaks of Horton, an elephant whose incredibly large ears inform him of a small community living on a speck of dust, once again the fun to be had reading this to young children is great, Horton goes around, and attempts to convice the creatures he meets, that there is a small voice who lives on the speck of dust...well to tell the tale further would spoil it for you. This book is without dought a great investment, with it's super illerstrations and clear print, well done Dr Seuss, my son could not stop laughing, in fact neather could I. excellent, dr seuss at his best ! (3/3 people found this helpful)Once again Dr. Seuss provides us with a colourful and educational, but what's more ... fun book to read. I am still captivated by his charm despite the fact that I am 21, proof perhaps that Dr.Seuss isn't just for children? Similar ProductsOh the Things You Can Do That Are Good for You!
