The images and moments in this book are truly breathtaking, everyone a joy but torture - a torture because the time has past for me to even try a capture these for myself. No stiff technical record (but it is) but a slice of the very air that surrounded these cars and people. Each picture reproduced at the back of the book in thumbnail form with a very descriptive caption.

This books shows some excellent photographs of the cars and drivers from the past. The best are those showing the non glamorous speed shots, but those of the racing crew working on or with the cars.
The shots of the engines and racing crew help bring the photographs alive. The light and shadings used on the photographs are excellent.
A book worth buying for racing and classic car fans.
