I took this book with me when I travelled in Europe. I never intended to learn any of the languages included (croatian, romanian, etc)yet when I needed to say something in any of those languages, I would just read it (or point it out) and the people became really helpful to see I was doing a big effort, and they even tried to reply in English! If you just need the languages to get around, this book is really good (and has the ideal size too!) If you intend to learn any of these languages, this is not the book for you.
