A young childs book with photos from the Brit Allcroft TV series. My son has this at the top of his point and babble book list (20months). He can look at the pictures in the book and learn about the trees just as much as the engines. Later he watches the episode on video. It has influenced him for the better and helped him make connections between the TV, the Books and the toys he plays with. I'd prefer him to read the books than watch the videos, but that can't always be. I think they're good value.
