Elan: Students' Book 1 Pt.1 (French AS)

Beware - this book costs only £16 to buy but it is not made clear you also need to buy the audio tape/CD that costs a criminal £80+ extra.

You need this audio tape/CD to use the book properly as most pages have a 'listen to' section. I only found this out after purchasing the book and, as a result, felt very cheated.

I think the publishers are stupid setting the tape/CD price so high as every other student I have spoken to wanted to buy the tape/CD but refused to or simply could not afford to. ie zero sales instead of a class room full.

this book explores the topics of study for AQA french A-level - it is a great aid to the final exams which I am currently sitting and has proved to be an immense grammar and vocabularly aid to me and to my peers who have also used this book for study. I would highly recommend Elan 2 to anyone studying A-level french, if you aren't I wouldn't bother as it would probably be no good. If you do buy it, enjoy... and good luck in your exams
