Sheila Paine has spent years studying and researching Indian Embroidery and this book concisely covers much of what she has learnt. Although this is a small book there is an amazing amount of stunning colour photos all with detailed information as to the actual use of the item. The glossary is educational and many of the pieces photographed are available to be seen at the British Museum.
This would be great book for anyone interested in Indian Embroidery or looking for a design book in this area.
