I bought many books on this topic to help me understand a technology which was new to me. I found this one to be excellent for my needs. It offers a great mid-level approach to the subject which is neither a 'dummies' guide nor a full technical reference. It covers the subject in more than sufficient depth to enable the commercially minded manager or business oriented person to fully appreciate this technology and its applications. Definitely value for money and well worth keeping to hand for ad-hoc reference.

An excellent book for those who are interested in the new wave of data technology. I highly recommend it to EE's, business development managers and IT managers. It is very easy to read and has become a part of my easy access library.
