4/5 stars

A great account of capital punishment in America (3/3 people found this helpful)

A good account of the development of the electric chair changed capital punishment in America forever. The book reads just like a novel, with lots of factual information and well researched material, from the legal battle surrounding the first execution to the way it has changed peoples perception on how it has shaped capital punishment. Overall a great read.
