Reader Reviews:Hands on practical text (2/2 people found this helpful)An approach to the world of XP which uses practical programming examples to illustrate the key areas. Dr Neil has made a real effort to produce examples which are easy to follow without being dull. For me the most interesting examples are in the spiking section, and the section on testing UI code. The book is a relatively short read if you're not doing the exercises, but there are still a lot of interesting ideas to take on board. And if you take the time to work through some of the examples, in particular the suggested further exercises at the end of the chapter, it will definitely provide ample food for thought. An excellent introductory text for experienced developers who are considering adopting one or more XP practices.
